Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park sits at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, some of the most studied in the world, which roam freely against the dramatic backdrop of Africa's highest mountain. Amboseli's diverse habitats — from dried lake beds and swamps to open plains — support buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, lion, cheetah and over 400 bird species. The park is particularly renowned for photography, with the combination of elephants and Kilimanjaro creating iconic images.
